A System/Subsystem Register (SSR) is a controlled engineering register that defines and records the systems and subsystems used to organize construction, commissioning, testing and turnover activities. It establishes the structured breakdown of a facility into manageable commissioning units and provides the foundation for completion management and progressive system handover.
System/Subsystem Registers define the structured system hierarchy used to manage commissioning and facility turnover.
System/Subsystem Registers are typically developed during detailed engineering and provide the basis for planning commissioning activities, assigning work packages and tracking system completion status.
A System/Subsystem Register defines the commissioning system hierarchy, whereas a System Completion Database manages the execution and status of those systems.
