Documented evidence demonstrating that specified quality requirements have been fulfilled.

Definition

A Quality Record is documented information that provides objective evidence demonstrating that specified quality requirements have been satisfied. Quality Records may include inspection reports, test results, certificates, audit findings, calibration records, material certifications and other documents retained to verify compliance with contractual, regulatory or organizational requirements.

Quality Records provide objective evidence that quality requirements have been achieved and verified.

Common Misuse
