Definition

The National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors (NBBI) is an international organization that promotes the safe construction, installation, inspection, repair and operation of boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure-retaining equipment. It publishes the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) and supports inspector qualification, training and regulatory consistency.
