Shutdown Management is the structured management process used to plan, coordinate, execute and monitor all activities associated with a planned shutdown, turnaround or major maintenance event. It integrates engineering, operations, maintenance, procurement, logistics and safety activities to achieve the shutdown objectives safely, efficiently and within schedule and budget.
