Recommendation Due Date

A VisualAIM platform business object representing the planned completion date for implementing a Recommendation.

Definition

Within the VisualAIM platform, Recommendation Due Date represents the planned target date by which a Recommendation should be implemented, verified or otherwise resolved. The Due Date supports maintenance planning, work scheduling, compliance reporting and performance monitoring by providing a measurable implementation target.

Why It Matters

Recommendation Due Dates support planning, scheduling and monitoring of corrective actions throughout the remediation lifecycle.

In Practice

Although commonly referred to as a Due Date, organizations may also use terms such as Target Date or Required Completion Date to represent the planned completion objective for a Recommendation.

Common Misuse

Recommendation Due Date defines when a Recommendation is expected to be completed, whereas Recommendation Closure records when it has actually been completed.
